A Marriage Made in Heaven...
|
 |
 |
 |
 |
|
Well...a marriage made in internet-land, anyway! :) I wanted to let you know that we've combined two of our popular products (Quick Podcast & Quick Blog) into one easy-to-use product. The new name? Quick Blogcast! If you were a previous user of either product, you'll find that your content will be imported into this new product. It should happen seamlessly, but if you have any problems at all, please don't hesitate to contact technical support at (480)624-2500. Quick Blogcast comes with everything you need to launch a church blog or podcast--keep your congregation informed, offer devotional thoughts, or podcast your sermons. It even comes with an audio recording tool, so you can record your podcast right from your computer. In a culture where MP3 players are becoming more commonplace, this is a great tool to keep in touch with your busy and mobile congregation. Plans start at just $3.50 a month, and you can always upgrade your plan as your needs grow. Labels: podcast, products, quick blog, quick blogcast, what's new

We continue to grow because of your referrals

I was at my dentist the other day. (Don't worry, it was just a routine cleaning...although I did have my wisdom teeth extracted back in January!) While I was there, I noticed a sign on the wall that said, "Our practice continues to grow because of your referrals." As I pondered that simple sentence, I realized that it contained a lot of truth and wisdom. My wife teaches private piano lessons from our home, and hasn't paid for advertising in several years. Yet, her studio continues to grow because of word-of-mouth. And, the same is true for YourChurchWeb.net. I was looking over my list of churches the other day, and began to see connections. Two churches that are located in the same town. One webmaster who moved to another church and setup their website for them as well. One associate pastor who remembered using our services a few years back at his old church and recomended them to his new church. Family members who live across the country, but passed a referral along. One of the reasons that YourChurchWeb.net is able to offer affordable hosting products is because we've never invested much money in advertising. Instead, we rely on satisfied customers to tell their friends and colleagues about us. And so, I'd like to just take a moment to thank you. Thank you for your work to expand the Kingdom of God through the internet. Thank you for choosing YourChurchWeb.net, and thank you for referring your friends and neighboring churches. We've got some exciting new sales and promotions coming up in the next few months, and I'm always looking for ways to reduce prices. If you refer a new customer, drop me a note a sales@yourchurchweb.net so I can thank you personally! Grace and Peace, Jonathan Twitchell YourChurchWeb.net Labels: referral, Sales

Jonathan Twitchell,
the owner of YourChurchWeb.net, is also a pastor and podcaster.
He and his wife Melody live near the coast of Maine with
their black, long-hair, bobtail cat named Kiera.
Pastor Jon believes that churches must stay abreast of new technologies
in their effort to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Through websites, podcasts, radio and television, the Church
of the 21st century has the unique opportunity to be available to all
people, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
YourChurchWeb.net was begun in 2001 based on the conviction that every
church ought to have a website, and that the technology should be as
affordable as possible.
Jonathan's brother Douglas
Twitchell joins us on this blog as an occasional guest
blogger. Douglas is the owner of Virtu Software,
and specializes in web-based programming and database development. For
an example of some of Doug's work, check out Quote Puzzler.
Doug is also very involved in ministry through his local church,
and his ministry
and devotional website.
